Obituary of Catherine “Katie” C. Harp Evans

Catherine C. Evans

Mrs. Catherine C. Evans, age 86, of Marianna, Arkansas, died on Monday, 
December 26, 2005 in Helana, Arkansas.

Mrs. Evans was born February 28, 1919 in Greenview, Ill., the daughter of John 
and Nellie Raber Harp.  She married Ellis Evans; he preceded her in death.

Surviving are her sons Ellis Evans Jr., Russell Evans and Robert Evans; 
daughters Barbara Weeks, Judy Thomas and Bonnie Martinez; sister Nellie Jean 
Davis of Springfield, Ill., brothers Bill Harp and wife Betty of Mason City, 
Ill; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at Roller-Citizens 
Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas with Rev. Ted Mealor officiating.  
Internment in Marianna Memorial Park, Marianna, Arkansas.

Pallbearers were Keith Evans, Kevin Evans, D. W. Weeks, John Weeks, Hito 
Martinez, David Evans and B. J. Smith.
