Moses H. Fletcher Died Sunday Night

For twenty years he had combined real estate and gravel business.

Moses H. Fletcher, born in Logan county 81 years ago, real estate agent and 
dealer in gravel in Danville for twenty years, died Sunday night in St. 
Elizabeth's hospital, where he had been ill of a complication of diseases for 
several weeks.  The body was removed to the morgue of C. J. Callahan, who will 
send it Tuesday to Mt. Pulaski, near where it will be buried after funeral 
services are held at the residence of Mrs. Lawrence, daughter, who arrived in 
Danville Monday.  Mrs. Lawrence lives in Elkhart, Logan County.

There is another daughter, but relatives know nothing of her whereabouts 
except that she lives on the Pacific coast.  Her post office address is said 
to be unknown to relatives in Logan county.

Other relatives are Mrs. Mary O'Connor of Mt. Pulaski, and Mrs. Sarah Randolph 
of Lincoln, sisters, Martin Fletcher of Oklahoma, brother, and Mrs. Imogene 
Rockwell and Orville Jackson of Nebraska, grandchildren.

G. F. Coburn, lawyer and justice of the peace, Mr. Fletcher's closet personal 
friend in Danville, said that  death followed a breaking down which had its 
beginning almost a year age.

Mr. Fletcher had no relatives in Danville and is said to have known not a 
single person when he decided to locate in this city.

"We never knew why my father came to Danville," said Mrs. Lawrence, in the 
office of Justice Coburn Monday.  "So far as my knowledge goes, he was a total 
stranger when he took up his residence here.  I do not think he ever was in 
Danville until de decided to come here and locate.  He had spent sixty years 
of his life in Logan county."
