Stephenson, Jr., - Historian, Bock Family Association On file in the Lincoln Public Library, Lincoln, Illinois The Lincoln Evening Courier & Lincoln Herald, Lincoln, Illinois Friday, July 5, 1935 pg 1 Burns are Fatal to Beason Woman The death of Mrs. Wilhelmina Hahn of near Beason occurred at 3:50 o'clock Thursday morning at Deaconess hospital, following six weeks of continuous suffering from burns. While spraying a brooder-house an explosion occurred and Mrs. Hahn was enveloped in fire. She ran and leaped into a water trough and was thus saved from instant death. Mrs. Hahn was born in Broadwell October 10, 1870, and died at the age of 64 years, 8 months and 24 days. She was the daughter of Peter and Louise Bock Reinhardt. Her husband, the late Frederick Hahn, passed away in 1931. Surviving are a son, Walter Hahn of Beason and daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Kieszling of Atlanta. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon. There will be a short service at 1:30 o'clock from the Sheets Chapel and at 2 o'clock from St. John's church, conducted by Rev. J. A. Hoefer. Burial will be in Atlanta cemetery.
