Stephenson, Jr. Lincoln Evening Courier, Lincoln Illinois Sept. 22, 1961 Miss Libsey of Armington Dies Miss Mary Auburn Lipsey, 69, of Armington died at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital at 7:25 P. M. Thursday. She was taken to the Quiram Funeral Home in Atlanta where funeral arrangements are not complete. She was born February. 19, 1892 near Martinsville, Ind., a daughter of Charles and Amanda Ryan Lipsey. She moved to the Armington vicinity with her parents while she was a small child. Two nephews survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. She was a graduate of the Grey’s College of Music and had taught music several years. She was a telephone operator in Armington for a number of years and also had worked for the Farmers and Verry banks the R______ Grocery, the Mowry Drug store for the past few years and as bookkeeper for the J. C. _____ Advertising Agency. She was a Lincoln newspaper correspondent for many years. She was a member of ____bekan Lodge and Armington Christian Church and Sunday School.
