Deceased had lighted a shot at the same time another man had in an adjoining room, and both parties had retired to a safe place, when they heard one shot go off, and deceased declared it was his shot that had exploded, and started in to light another one when the shot from the adjoining room exploded, blowing through into the room of deceased just as he (deceased) had arrived in front of the shot that exploded, and the flying coal struck him on top of the head, tearing away the whole top of his head. He left a widow and seven little children dependent.
