Stephenson, Jr., - Historian, Bock Family Association On file Lincoln Public Library Lincoln Evening Courier & Lincoln Herald, Lincoln, Illinois Friday December 13, 1929 pg 1 col 4 Jacob Reinhart Claimed by Death Jacob Reinhart passed away at St. Clara's hospital at 7 o'clock Thursday evening after an illness of several months with cancer. He had been so patient during his intense suffering, always thinking of others. He was always a good friend and neighbor to those around him and a kind and loving husband and father. He had been a patient at the hospital for the past two months. Mr. Reinhart was born neat Waverly, Ohio, November 28, 1866, and died at the age of 63 years and 14 days. When a small child he came with his parents to Illinois. He was a farmer in Logan county until last year. He was married to Anna Sheridan in the year 1897. Several brothers and sisters preceded him in death, also his parents. He is survived by his wife, one son, Henry, residing in Lincoln, one daughter Mrs. Reuben Spaits near Atlanta, two grandsons, one sister Mrs. Fred Hahn, near Beason, one brother, Fred near Atlanta and many other friends and relatives. A short service will be held at the Sheets Funeral Home at 12:30 Saturday afternoon and at the First Methodist church at 1 o'clock. Rev. O. L. Unger will be in charge. Burial will be in the Atlanta cemetery. The body will remain at the Sheets Home until the hour of the service at the church.
