Stephenson, Jr., - Historian, Bock Family Association Colorado County Citizen - Columbus, Texas January 11, 2005 Schoen Adolph Junior "Bud" Schoen, 84, of Columbus, passed away Jan. 7 at the Columbus Community Hospital. He was born Sept. 13, 1920 to Adolph A. Schoen Sr. and Marguerite Warrick in St. Louis, Mo. He was a self-employed owner and operator of an auto body repair shop and served in the U.S. Navy, USS Astoria in World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Esther Schoen; and sister, Lynne Albert. He is survived by his daughter, Susan K. Hauck and husband, Steve, of Katy; son, John W. Schoen, of Paradise; sisters, Lillian Schafer, of California and Charlotte Love and husband, Clarence Vernon, of Destin, Fla.; grandchildren, John Schoen Jr., Michael Schoen, Christopher Hauck, Daniel Schoen, Jonathan Hauck, Stephanie Hauck and Elizabeth Hauck. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, at Hopp Funeral Home in Kirkwood, Mo. Interment followed at the National Cemetery in Jefferson Barracks, Mo. St. Louis Post Dispatch Schoen, Adolph Junior 'Bud', on Fri. Jan. 7, 2005 in Columbus, TX; dear husband of the late Ester Schoen; dear Father of Cdr. John W. Schoen USCG ret. And Susan K. (Steve) Hauck; dear grandfather of John Jr., Michael and Daniel Schoen and Christopher, Jonathan, Elizabeth and Stephanie Hauck; dear brother, uncle and friend. Bud was the former owner/operator of Daggett Auto Body in St. Louis. Funeral Wed., 1:00 p.m. at BOPP Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd. (Kirkwood). Interment National Cemetery. Visitation Tues., 6-8 p.m.
