Stephenson, August 2001 MRS. WARRICK, AGED 83, DIED TODAY Mrs. Elizabeth Rankin Warrick, a pioneer of Logan county and for 66 years one of Logan county's respectacle citizens, passed away at 6:45 o'clock this morning at her home at 112 Pekin street. During the past few weeks Mrs. Warrick had been seriously ill and recently relatives were aware that death was not far distant. Mrs. Warrick was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Rankin. She was born in Fairfield county, Ohio, October 1, 1844, and died at the age of 83 years and 18 days. August 8, 1961 (1861), she was married to Ben C. Warrick, who preceded his wife in death. They were married in Lincoln and spent most of their married life on a farm south of Lincoln, except for a few years, when they lived near Girard, Ill. The following four sons survive; Ed R. Warrick, Wm. P. Warrick and Seth Warrick of Lincoln and John A. Warrick, who resides at Girard. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Polly Corwin, residing on Eighth street. The funeral is to take place at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, from the home, with Rev. W. C. Lloyd of Cumberland Presbyterian church in charge. Interment will take place in Union Cemetery.
