Warrick transcription by William L. Stephenson, Jr. – Warrick Family Historian Lincoln Daily Courier, Lincoln, Illinois Tuesday, January 2, 1968 Seth A. Warrick Rites, Wednesday Seth A. Warrick, 95, of 331 Seventh, a retired farmer, died at 2:15 p.m. Sunday at a Jacksonville [Illinois] hospital. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kerrigan Funeral Home with the rev. David Dees officiating. Burial will be Union cemetery. A private visitation for immediate members of the family will be at the funeral home. The deceased was born Sept. 30, 1872, near Lincoln a son of Benjamin and Elizabeth Rankin Warrick, a pioneer family which settled in Logan County in 1820. He married Cora Buckles Nov. 24, 1909 in Lincoln. She survives with one son Willard A. of Lincoln. His parents and four brothers preceded him in death. Mr. Warrick farmed south of Lincoln until his retirement 15 years ago. He organized the Fogarty Elevator and served as its first manager.
