Stephenson, Jr., - Historian, Bock Family Association Central Illinois Deaths Bloomington Daily Pantograph January 24, 1946 Mrs. Caroline Willment Atlanta - Mrs. Caroline Bock Willment, 82, died at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at her residence. The funeral will be at 1:15 p.m. Saturday at the residence and 2 p.m. at St' John's Evangelical church, Lincoln, with the Rev. Walter Lauer of Pekin officiating. Burial will be in Atlanta Cemetery. The body was taken to Sheets Funeral home and will be returned to the Willment residence Thursday afternoon. The Lincoln Evening Courier, Lincoln, IL Wed 23 Jan 1946 pg 14 col 6 on file in the Lincoln Public Library, Lincoln Illinois Mrs. Willmert, 82, Dies, Farm Home Mrs. Caroline Bock Willmert, 82, rural route 2, Atlanta, died at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, at her residence. She had been in failing health three years and seriously ill the last week. Mrs. Willmert was born March 13, 1863, in Unteryeckenback, Germany, and came to the United States with her father, Adam Bock, and her brothers and sisters in 1870. She was married to J. H. Willmert. They lived on a farm near Lincoln three years and in 1883 moved to the Lazy Row community in Eminence township. Surviving are her husband and the following children: Harold A. and F. W. Willment, Hope, N.D.; Mrs August Brautigan, Lincoln; Mrs Frank Bode, Myrtle, Katherine and George Willmert, Atlanta. Mrs. Willmert was the last of a family of seven sisters and three brothers. There are 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical church in Lincoln. The funeral will be at 1:10 p.m. Saturday at the residence at 2 o'clock at St. John's church with the Rev. Walter Lauer, Pekin, officiating. Burial will be in Atlanta cemetery. The body was taken to Sheets Funeral home and will be returned to the Willment residence Thursday afternoon.
