Certificate of Publication in Lincoln Daily Courier – Herald

State of Illinois
County of Logan
City of Lincoln

The Courier – Herald Company, a corporation organized and existing under and 
pursuant to the laws of the State of Illinois, and Publishers of the Lincoln 
Daily Courier – Herald, a secular newspaper of general circulation, in said 
County, printed and published in the City, County and State aforesaid, hereby 
certifies that a notice, of which the annexed notice is a true copy, has been 
regularly published in said paper 4 times for 4 successive weeks The first 
publication was on the 5th day of October, 1921 and the last publication the 
24th day of October 1921.  It further certifies that said Lincoln Daily 
Courier-Herald has been regularly published for at least six months prior to 
the first publication of said notice.

In Witness Whereof, the said Courier-Herald Company aforesaid, has hereunto 
caused its corporate name to be hereunto signed by its Publisher, or Secretary-
Treasurer, duly authorized this day of October 26, 1921 any or either of said 
officers being thereunto duly authorized.

PETITION TO PROBATE WILL.
State of Illinois, Logan County, ss.
County Court, Logan County, October Term, 1921.

In the matter of the probate of the last will and testament of Henrik Bock, 
deceased.  In probate.

To All Persons Whom This May Concern – Greetings:
Notice is hereby given, that on the 3rd day of October , A.D. 1921, a petition 
was filed in the County Court of Logan County, Illinois, asking that the last 
will and testament of Henrik Bock, deceased, be admitted to probate.  The same 
petition further states that the following named persons are all the heirs at 
law and legatees:

Katherine Bock, Adam Bock, Caroline Wilmert, Minnie Lawn, Elizabeth Apel 
(children of Dorothea Gosda, a deceased sister); Mary C. Lauer, William A. 
Gosda, Henry J. Gosda, George C. Gosda (children of Mary Raber, a deceased 
sister); Carrie Smith, Minnie Sparks, George Raber, Ida Martin, Nellie Harp, 
Mary Lorenz (children of Lottie Wilmert, a deceased sister); Mary Berger, 
Jacob Wilmert, Katie Drewy; Deaconess Home and Hospital of Lincoln, Illinois; 
unknown officers or elders of the Protestant church in Ilgesheim, Kries St. 
Wendell R. B. Trier, Germany; unknown heirs and direct descendants of Jacob 
Conrad; unknown heirs and direct descendants of Friedrich Conrad; unknown 
heirs and direct descendants of Phillip Conrad; Unknown heirs and direct 
descendants of Caroline Hass, nee Conrad; unknown heirs and direct descendants 
of Margaret Schneider, nee Conrad; unknown heirs and direct descendants of 
Luise Kohl.

You are further notified, that the hearing of the proof of said will has been 
set by said Court for the 28th day of October, A. D. 1921, at the hour of 
10:00 o’clock in the forenoon, at the court house in Lincoln, in said county, 
when and where you can appear, if you see fit, and show cause, if any you 
have, why said will should not be admitted to probate.
