FARMERS THRIFTY HOUSEWIFE
Mrs. Clara VEECH, of Oakley, successful Butter Maker  
  Mrs. Clara VEECH of Oakley is a very busy woman.  Outside of doing all her 
housework, she made and sold 1120 pounds of butter in one year for which she 
realized $238.52.  That amount of butter was sold from four cows after the 
family had reserved plenty of milk for their own use.  One cow teated 13 
pounds of butter in one week.
