Bowman, 38, a former Decatur resident, died suddenly Saturday while riding on a train between San Francisco, Calif., and Seattle, Wash., where he lived according to word received here. Mr. Bowman, who left Decatur 20 years ago, was a traveling salesman. He was born and reared in Decatur. Besides his wife he leaves his parents, Mr and Mrs. William N. Bowman, Decatur, two brothers, Joe and Frank, Decatur, and four sisters, Mrs. William F. Conover, Mrs. L. J. Aitken, Miss Dorothy Bowman, all of Decatur, and Lucille Bowman, Chicago. Lucille Bowman will attend funeral services in Seattle.
