J. C. HALL DEAD Had Been Ill for a Week - Burial at Oreana Mrs. Relda E. Hall, the wife of Dr. J. C. Hall, died at 7 o'clock on Tuesday night at the family home on West Wood street. Grip was the cause of death. Mrs. Hall had been ill but a week. About a year ago she suffered an attack of grip and since that time had never been entirely well. When the second attack came a week ago her condition was at once serious and she became rapidly worse until the time of her death. Mrs. Hall's maiden name was Relda E. Snape. She was born October 8, 1858 in Owen County Kentucky, and was married to Dr. Hall twenty-two years ago at Cincinnati. With her husband she came to Decatur after her marriage and about six years ago went south where Dr. and Mrs. Hall remained for about five years and again came to Decatur to live in October, 1902. Mrs. Hall is survived by two sons, Herber, aged 17 years, and Otis aged 13 years. She also leaves two brothers, John Snape of Oreana, and James Snape of Kentucky, also three sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Brock and Mrs. J. L. Sloan both of Kentucky and Mrs. Iloa Perry of St. Louis. Mrs. Hall was a member of the First Baptist church. The body will be taken to Oreana for burial and services will be held at the Oreana church at 9 a.m. Thursday. Rev. J. W. McDonald of Decatur will officiate.
