Death of Miss Harpstrite
  Miss Sophia Amelia Harpstrite, daugher of E. Harpstrite, died at the family 
residence, 545 West Main street, this morning, Dec. 9, 1895.  She was born in 
Macon county in the year 1856, and at the time of her death was in ther 38th 
year.
  Deceased has been sick for a period extending over two years, but never 
until a short time ago did her sickness assume a serious nature.  She leaves a 
father, four sisters and three brothers to mourn her loss.  they are Mrs. 
Peter Ullrich, of Cedar Rapids, Ia.; Misses Mary, Bertha dn Emma, of his city; 
Charles and John Harpstrite, of Wichita, Kan.; and E. J. Harpstrite, of this 
city.
  The time of the funeral will be announces later.
