Burial will be in Maroa Cemetery. Mr. Marlatt, 73, of Maroa died at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday in Decatur and Macon County Hospital, after being admitted at 2 a.m. Mr. Marlatt was born July 4, 1983, in Maroa, a son of John and Mary Ellen Hanks Marlatt. He was a lifelong resident of Maroa and was a retired farmer. He married Nina Hedger Jan. 21, 1915, in Maroa. She survives. He also leaves one son, Thomas, of Route 1; five daughters, Mrs. Glenn (Bonnie) Rolofson of Argenta; Mrs. Milton ( Wanda) Tade of San Francisco, Calif.; Mrs. Melvin (Shirley) Stackhouse of Park Forest; Mrs. DeNial (Barbara) Vaughn of Decatur; and Mrs. Russell (Phyllis) Bolte of Bartelsville, Okla.; one brother, Lynn Marlatt of Milford, N. H.; 13 grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. Two brothers, two sisters and one daughter preceded him in death.
