The Decatur [IL] Review, Nov 29, 1904
Mrs. Gaylord C. Rodgers died at her home, 139 West Washington street, at 12 
o'clock Tuesday. She would have been 27 years of age on Dec. 29. Her maiden 
name was Hattie Westlake, and her home was in Springfield. She was married to 
Gaylord C. Rodgers Feb. 10, 1904. Besides her husband, she leaves a baby born 
Nov. 20. She was a member of the Christian church and also of the Entre Nous 
club, and has a host of friends. The funeral will be held at 12:45 on 
Wednesday and the body will be taken to Lincoln on the 2:20 train for burial. 
Rev. F. W. Burnham will conduct the services.
