Obituary: Benld - Loreto Antonacci, 93, 706 N. 7th St., died Wednesday, Feb. 
22 at Staunton Health Care Center. Born in Italy, Jan. 21, 1885, he was the son 
of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Antonacci. He was preceded in death by his 
wife Assunta Fanale Antonacci, who died Nov. 22, 1946. Survivors are, a son, 
Roger Antonacci of  Springfield; five daughters, Nancy Vespa and Susan Warren, 
Springfield; Josephine Rossio, Benld; Mary Furguer, Peoria; and Ann Coota, 
Clinton; nine grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and three great-great-
grandchildren. Friends were received at Benld Union Funeral Home. A funeral 
Mass was celebrated Friday morning at 9:00 o'clock, from St. Joseph's Catholic 
Church, with the Rev. Ralph S. Guido as celebrant. Burial was made in Calvary 
Cemetary, Springfield.
