Mr. BUB was born in Staunton in February 1844 and his 63rd birthday would have occurred on the 24th of this month. He was married some 40 years ago to Miss Caroline FINKE of Worden, the fruits of the union being 7 children, five of whom still survive. Buy occupation a teamster, he held the highest regard from all who had business dealings with him and was a man possessed of many sterling qualities. Mr. BUB's illness dated from the early part of last June, being then seized with a stroke of paralysis from which he never thoroughly regained health. His funeral takes place today, Monday at 2 p.m. the Rev. Hugo Conducting services at the St. Paul's church. At the cemetery, the Modern Woodmen of which Mr. BUB was a member will conduct the last sad rites.
