Obituary: WilIiam ELVERS Gillespie - William H. ELVERS, 63, died at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 
1986, at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield after being ill about one year. He was born in Gillespie, the son of 
Mabel (BURGE) ELVERS and the late Walter ELVERS The World War II U. S. Army veteran was a 
supervisor for Duracraft in Gillespie before retiring. In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife, the 
former Thelma CULP, one son Larry ELVERS of Litchfield; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be after 
5 p.m. today at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie, where services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday with 
Rev. Everett I. HAGEMAN officiating. Burial will be in Gillespie City Cemetery
