Mrs. FRANCY was born near Gillespie, Dec. 7, 1886, a daughter of Louis and Wickie SCHMIDT KORTUM. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran church in Gillespie, and had spent most of her life in the Gillespie community. On Apr 26, 1928, in Gillespie, she was married to Albert O FRANCY who survives. Also surviving are two brothers, John E. KORTUM and Charlie KORTUM, two sisters, Mrs. Minnie STEWART and Mrs. Emma MEYER, all of Denver, Colo. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 o'clock Monday afternoon in Zion Lutheran church with the Rev. L. KREKELER officiating. Interment was in Mayfield Memorial Cemetery.
