Max GEORGE, a former resident of the vicinity of Staunton died on Thursday morning at Carlinville. It is not known at what time his death occurred or what was the cause of it. He retired about 12 o'clock Wednesday night seemingly in his usual health and about 6 o'clock the next morning he was found dead in bed. The coroner was notified and an inquest held. After the inquest was held the body was prepared for burial and shipped to this city via the interburban, arriving at 8 o'clock Thursday night. The remains were taken to the home of Paul GROSS, and uncle of the deceased. Mr. GEORGE was aged 29 years 2 months and 11 days. He leaves a mother, father, three sisters and three brothers to mourn his sad death and they have the sympathy of all in their bereavement. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. HUGO on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence of Mr. GROSS to the St. Paul's Church. The remains were interred in the city cemetery.
