GLUR, 74, Girard Resident Since 1911, Dies Saturday Mrs. Mary C. GLUR, 74, died at 7 p.m. Saturday, at her home where she had been ill for three months. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the C. M. Shane Funeral Home with Rev. C. P. EASTIN of the Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Girard Cemetery. Pall bearers were Alfred STAUFFER, Karl STAUFFER, Carl FREY, Henry FREY, George ROBERTSON and Jesse TALKINGTON. She was born in Bradsfordsville, Kentucky, October 10, 1875 and has lived in Girard since 1911. She united with the Baptist church in 1929. Her husband and one son Coleman [BERNARD] preceded her in death. Surviving are four daughters: Mrs. Rose KONIAK of Benld and Mrs. Elsie HARDIN of Louisville, Ky. [not listed because of typo: Mrs. Lena FREY and Mrs. Bertha WHALEN]; a son, Virgil of Girard; five step daughters: Mrs. Lena HAHLEN, Mrs Emma BINDER, Mrs. Ida ATKISSON and Mrs. Freida MEYER all of Louisville, Ky and Mrs. Mary STAUFFER of Girard; a stepson Alfred GLUR of Girard; a sister Mrs. Lillie KING and two brothers, Robert and Roy JUSTICE of Louisville, Kentucky; also 13 grandchildren, seven great grand children and one great-great grandchild. Friends from out of town attending the funeral were Mrs. Don SAVANT, Mrs. Lillie SWANSON, Mrs. Rose ENRICO, Mrs Mary RUFFATO, Mrs. George BAINA, Mrs. Mary POLLO and son, Frank, Mrs. Verona BEDNAR and daughter Christina, Mrs. Mary KONIAK, Mrs. Pete KAPUSTA, Mr. and Mrs. Paul KONIAK, Mrs. Daisy BERTARN, Mrs. Gladyce HEMPHILL, Ida DEVLIN, all of Benld, Mr. and Mrs. A. A. RUSSELL of Gillespie, Mrs. John STRAUB, Herman FREY, Freda HOFER of Staunton, Mrs. Mary WALTHERS of Chicago and Mrs. Mike SCHOTT of Auburn.
