Died on Saturday evening, about five o'clock, at his home north of this city, near the Gore school-house, Mr. Frank MEYER, after an illness of but a few weeks of pneumonia, aged 64 years and 28 days. He was born in Waale, Brunswick, Germany, and after coming to this country was united in marriage to Miss Caroline BURGDORFF, of this city. The deceased was an energetic, hard-working farmer, and was a man well liked by all his neighbors and those with whom he became acquainted. He leaves a widow and ten children to mourn his death, the first mentioned living in California, the others being at home: Their names are: Lena, Fritz, Frida, Dora, Anna, Ida, Ferdinand, John, Walter, Clara. The funeral was held at the house at 12 o'clock noon on Tuesday, conducted by Rev. J.H. DINKMEYER, of Alhambra, Ill. Interment in the city cemetery.
