Thomas Quarton, for years a familiar figure in this city, was buried Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock in the Denby cemetery north-west of town. The funeral was conducted by Rev. D. P. Deadrick of this city. A few weeks ago the aged gentleman, who was feeble, was taken to the hospital in Jacksonville, where he died last Friday. He was born in England in 1829 and came to America with his parents when one year of age. The deceased was married three times and was the father of fourteen children, three of whom survive him. His first wife was Apsley Ann Moore, the second Mrs. Ida McMillan and the third Nancy Dolan, all of whom preceeded him to the grave. The three children living are John and Robert Quatron, and Miss Elizabeth Quatron.
