Obituary: MARY L. STEWART -- Mary L. (CONVERSE) STEWART, 79,
of Mechanicsburg, died at 6:15 p.m. at the Dirksen House. She was born 31
Dec. 1894 in Barr Twp., Hettick, the daughter of Fred W. and Annie L. REID
CONVERSE. Surviving are her husband, Ernest; four daughters, Lucille CARR
of Springfield; Mrs. Charles (Lois) BYERLINE of Mechanicsburg; Mrs. Dale
(Willa) GIDEL and Mrs Robert (Mary Ann) KAYLOR both of Illiopolis;
two step-sons, Ivan L. of Mechanicsburg and Calvin of Indianpolis, Ind.;
two brothers Walter CONVERSE of Springfield and Chester CONVERSE
of Hettick; one sister Mrs. Minnie Klokkenga of Pekin; 13 grandchildren;
4 great- grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Private services will
be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Fullenwider Funeral Home in Mechanicsburg
with Rev. D. A. Fradenburgh officiating. Burial will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
