Wilson, Sr., 76, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 1990, at his residence. He was a farmer. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mabel (WILLIAMS) WILSON. He married the former Ada WERTS on Aug. 17, 1938, in Palmyra, Missouri, and she survives. Also surviving are three sons, John D. Wilson, Jr. of Brighton; Dale and Charles Wilson, both of Piasa; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A twin sister, Margaret Wilson, preceded him in death. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Targhetta Funeral Home in Medora, where services are at 1 p.m. Monday with Rev. Ray Tadea officiating. Burial is in the Trible Cemetery in Piasa, IL.
