Edwardsville Intelligencer October 22, 1924
Dixon, IL - Oct. 22 - Mystery surrounding the finding of two human heads
underneath a Lincoln Highway bridge on the outskirts of the city remained
unsolved today, and the only clue in the hands of the police was the copy of the
September 24 issue of Sioux City, Iowa Journal, in which the heads were wrapped.
 A coroner's physician who examined them said they probably had been placed
there Sunday.  The heads were those of middle-aged white men.
