Henry Kolk whose farm is north-east of the city, died last night in Jacksonville where he had been taken about a year ago for treatment of a mental malady. He was about 45 years of age and was a member of Bluff City Court of Honor. The body will arrive in Alton this evening and will be taken to the Keiser undertaking rooms, and the fueral will be held from there tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in Godfrey cemetery. Mr. Kolk was a well respected man, and there was general regret among acquaintances and neighbors when his mental trouble developed. This regret will be accentuated now because of his death.
