In the first and principally and for more worthy in esteem and consideration then any outward goods or injoyments I recommend my soul to Almighty God the Father of Spirits trusting and firmly believing in God through the merritts of Jesus Christ to receive free pardon and remission of my sins whenever this mortal life shall cease and it is then also my will and desire that my body be committed to the earth to be buried in Christian manner at the direction of my executor hereafter named. Item: It is my will and desire that whereas I did make a will at my departure out of England wherein I appointed John Blandford my hole and sole executor which said will is now in the hand of ye said John Blandford, now my desire is that the said will shall stand be and remain in full force and virtue in relation to all my estate boath reall and personall which I have in England but not to reach nor have any concerne with what I have here in Virginia which after my debts and funerall charges is paid I give and dispose of as followeth, viz. Item: I give and bequeath unto my eldest brother Christopher Pack my orgin base voyall and spenet. Item: I give and bequeath to my beloved friend Captain John Allen my case of tea spoones, tongs and stranger with all my china wear in generall and tea utensills. Item: I give and bequeath to my brother Graves Pack all the rest and remaining parts of my estate here being the one halfe of those goods brought in with us as well what is shipt as what is remaining here; with whatever else I have in Virginia not disposed as above. Item: My will and desire is and I doe hereby appoint my beloved friend Captain John Allen my whole and sole executor of this my last will and testament as witness my hand and seal this :gth: day of August 1716.
