Obituary of Arvie Bryan MULVANEY, Marion County, Illinois Contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives Copyright 2000 Cindy McCachern Obituary of Arvie Mulvaney Kinmundy Banner, Thursday, July 9, 1970 Mr. Arvie Bryan Mulvaney, son of William Henry and Margaret Ellen (Pickel) Mulvaney was born in Omega Township, February 18, 1897, and departed this life in the Salem Memorial Hospital June 18, 1970, at the age of 73 years, 4 months and 10 days.   He was a devoted member of Brown Christian Church and attended faithfully.  He was united in marriage January 1917 to Elsie Bell O'Dell who preceded him in death on October 22, 1950.  To this union was born 6 children; Juanita Combs, of Champaign, Ill., Marjorie Cornwell of West Union, Ill., Helen Piper of Marion, Ill., and Bill Mulvaney of Houston, Texas who survive, 2 infant sons preceded him in death. On January 13, 1962 he was married to Mrs. Pearl Bradley at Marion, Ill.  In addition to his wife he is survived by two brothers, Lloyd and Fred Mulvaney of Kinmundy, Ill., four step-daughters, Geneva Wollard, marion, Ill., Wilma Schaubert, Carterville, Ill., Louise Fisher of Metropolis, Ill., and Nadine Jack of Tennessee.  Two step- sons, Carol and Dan Bradley of Maryland and 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 9 step-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at Brown Christian Church, June 30, at 2: 00 P.M. with Bro.
