Obituary of Charles Edward VETETO, Marion County, Illinois Contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives Copyright 2000 Cindy McCachern Obituary of Charles Edward Veteto Charles Edward Veteto 55, of St. Peter, formerly of Chicago and Salem, died at 3:19 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 1997 at St. Anthony's Hospital, Effingham, Illinois. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday December 30, 1997, at Pagel Funeral Home, Edgewood, Illinois with burial in Elder Cemetery, rural Kinmundy, Illinois. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Mr. Veteto was born September 16, 1942, in Marion County, Illinois, the son of Grover C. and Beulah V. "Perry" Veteto. He married Linda J. Matheny in 1961. He was a 30-year employee of Brown Shoe Co. in Salem as a supervisor and was a member of Queen of the Universe Church, Chicago, Illinois. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Debbie Huerta and Stacey Veteto, both of Chicago; parents of St. Peter; brothers, Paul of Kinmundy, Bernard of Farina, Doug of St. Elmo, Joe of Dyersburg, Tennessee; and two grandchildren; He was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Ray. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- USGENWEB NOTICE: These electronic pages may NOT be reproduced in any format for profit or presentation by other organizations or persons.
