Obituary of James William AUMILLER, Marion County, Illinois Contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives Copyright 2000 Cindy McCachern Obituary of James William Aumiller   James William Aumiller, son of the late William and Sarrah Gray Aumiller, passed away in the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Parker, at 4 o'clock Monday morning, Nov. 6, 1944 at the age of 78 years, 10 months and 22 days.  He was born December 15, 1865, near Wheeling, West Virginia coming to Marion county, Illinois with his parents in a covered wagon when about 9 years old. He was united in marriage to Miss Eleanor Eudora Immel, April 15, 1891, who preceded him in death November 29, 1916, almost 28 years ago.  To this union were born six children, two daughers preceded him in death, Emily in infancy and Mrs. Cassie Jordan in 1932. He leaves to mourn his departure two sons and two daughters, Edward Aumiller of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, John Aumiller, Mrs. Maude Parker of Salem, Illinois, who cared for him in his last illness and Mrs. Rose Eaton of Decatur, Illinois, and one brother, Albert Aumiller. He also leaves 15 grandchildren and three grandchildren besides several nieces and nephews and other relatives and many friends.   Four brothers and one sister preceded him in death, two in infancy, Joe Aumiller and Tom Aumiller in recent years.   His sister, Nannie, wife of the late Fred Miller of Iuka, Illinois, preceded him in death many years ago.   Funeral services were held in the McMakin funeral home, conducted by Rev. Albert A. Millican.  Burial in the Clark cemetery.   Card of Thanks We desire to thank the friends and ohters who so kindly assisted in the death and burial of our Father.  We are also thankful for the floral offerings.  May God bless you all in the sincere prayer of the children.  We also thank Rev.
