She came with her parents to this state when about ten years of age. She was married to Hartle Daggett at the age of 18 years. To this union five children were born, three of whom have preceded her. They were William, John and Jefferson. Her first husband served during the civil war and was killed leaving her the burden of the family. In the spring of 1866 she was married to Cyrus Vaughn, four children were born to this union. J.C., B.F., Lizzie and Alabam; Lizzie having preceded her mother home. Deceased departed this life February 12th, 1910 at 4:45 a.m. She was a loving wife and mother and was well beloved by her neighbors and friends, and those who knew her best loved her best. Mother is gone but not forgotten by her children and friends. Funeral services were conducted at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sam Holiday where she made her home by Rev. F. M. Quick. Then laid to rest at the old camp ground near Xenia. We take the opportunity of thanking our neighbors and friends for their kindness and assistance during our mothers illness and our distress.
