Mason City, Jan. 6- MRS.ETTA C. DENNIS died at 3:30 o'clock this morning at St. 
Francis' hospital in Peoria, where she was taken a week ago.
Decedent was born May 8, 1869, in Menard county, a daughter of WILLIAM and 
CHAROLTTE MEEKER. She was married to J. FRANKLIN DENNIS, who died several days 
ago.
Surviving are the following children: MRS. GUSSIE B. STEINSIEFER, MRS. ALTA M. 
LEWIS, of Peoria; MERLE L. GREENVIEW; JOHN L., San Jose: CLAIR, Chicago; 
CHARLES E., Mason City: and CARRIE and MARJORIE, at home. One brother, SETH, of 
this city also survives.
