  Virginia Mae Fairfield b. 23 Aug 1922 age 75 of Brookport, formally of
  Hamletsburg, IL. passed away Friday 17 Oct 1997 at Western Baptist
  Hospital, Paducah, KY at 8:46 A.M.
  Funeral services will be Monday 20 Oct 1997 at 1 P.M. at Calvary
  Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Lee Baker and Louis Wayne
  Brinker officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamletsburg Cemetery.
  She is survived by: her husband of 59 years Lee,   5 daughters and
  son-in-laws Lela Mae and Patrick McCoy of Bradley, IL., Amelia Rose and
  Robert Wahl of Martinton, IL., Audrey June and Donald Konemann of
  Bradley, IL., Doris Ann and Byron Hodge of Brookport, IL., Nancy Louise
  and Jeff Windhorst of Metropolis, IL..   5 sons and daughters-in-laws
  Jerry Lee and Cynthia Fairfield of Warner Robins, GA., Ronnie Gene and
  Kathy Fairfield of Riyadh, Saudia Arabia, Dennis Wayne and Janet
  Fairfield of Bradley, IL., Marcus Dale and Donna Fairfield of Kankakee,
  IL., Raymond Allen and Carolyn Fairfield of Bourbonnais, IL.   28
  Grandchildren, several Great Grandchildren.   2 sisters Ora Gower of
  Brookport, IL., Audrey Vick of Aroma Park, IL., 1 brother Bennie Medley
  of IN., Several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
  She was preceded in death by her parents James M. and Gertrude (Moseley)
  Medley, 1 son John Everett Fairfield, 1 son-in-law Randy Scoggin, 2
  sisters Esther Wallace and Verna Brewer,  6 brothers Melvin, Everett,
  Kenneth, Bud, Delbert and Warren Medley.
  She was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
  Friends may call at the Brookport Chapel after 6 P.M. Sunday and from 9
  A.M. till the funeral hour at the church.
