FUNERAL SERVICES TO BE HELD FOR SARAH TUCKER
Mrs. Sarah Tucker, age 92, of 1106 E. 2nd St., died Sunday, November 19th at 
the Massac Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Tucker is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Daisy Cox of Jacksonville, IL, 
Mrs. Rose Adams and Mrs. Mary Holt of Metropolis, and Mrs. Lillie Simpkins of 
Jonesboro, AR.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete pending arrival of relatives from 
California. Aikens Funeral Home in charge.

OBITUARY
Sarah Ann Tucker
Mrs. Sarah Ann Tucker departed this life at 5:35 p. m. November 19, 1961 at 
the Massac Memorial Hospital at 92 years of age.
She was the daughter of George and Clementine Applin Tucker. On October 2, 
1891 she was united in marriage to George W. Tucker. To this union were born 
eight children. Her husband and four sons preceded her in death.
She leaves to mourn her going her four daughters: Mrs. Coy E. Cox of 
Jacksonville, IL, Mrs. Cecil Holt and Mrs. Clate Adams both of Metropolis, 
Mrs. J. H. Simpkins of Jonesboro, AR; 22 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren 
and 5 great great grandchildren..
