EDWARD JOSEPH KLECKA
Edward J. Klecka, 74, of Huntley, passed away on June 5, 2006 at Provena Saint
Joseph Hospital in Elgin. 
Born on May 20, 1934, in Cook County, IL, Edward is the son of John George and
Frances Elinore Klecka 
(nee Siwinski).  Edward served with the U.S Marines during the Korean War and has
been a long time 
member of the American Legion Post #57 in Elgin. He worked for American Airlines in
both Los 
Angeles, California and Chicago, Illinois. He married Arlene Dorothy Schuessler on
February 5, 1955 at 
Sacred Heart Church, Melrose Park, IL. They moved to Redondo Beach, CA around 1958,
and after their 
divorce Edward moved back to Chicago.  He is survived by his children, Debra (Joe)
Cornwell of 
California, Sharon (Paul) Popp of California, Edward James (Lynn) Klecka of
California and Lawrence 
Klecka of Nevada; six grandchildren, Shannon and Michelle O'Leary and Chelsea
Cornwell, Brittni Popp, 
Ryan and Jennifer Klecka; his sister, Pam (Burt) Grocke of FL; nieces and nephews,
John (Pam) Grocke, 
Brett (Molly) Grocke and Betsy (Daniel) Britt; great-nephew, Jack and greatnieces,
Jennifer and Alina; 
beloved companion Pat Hein-Bretto of Huntley.  He is preceded in death by his
parents, his wife, Arlene 
(nee Schuessler) and daughter Kathleen S. Klecka. 
Funeral service will be on Monday at 10 a.m. at Madison Funeral Home. Entombment
will be private at 
Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville. Memorials to American Heart Association or the
American Lung 
Association.

NOTE:  I did make changes and additions to the above Obit - as this was done by my
Father's girlfriend 
and she left items out.  

My Father's Birth Father was Edward Joseph Wagner of Chicago, IL.  He was raised by
John George 
(Klukaczynski) Klecka as his own son.  (Note: John George Klukaczynski - changed his
name to Klecka)
Just recently in 2010, while working on our family tree, I discovered my Father has
another Sister, Carol 
Wagner -Thompson-Johnston.
