In the year 1847 she was married to John A. Robison, and a few years later they moved to their home here where she resided up to the time of her death, her husband having died July 1, 1898. Mrs. Robison was of a retiring disposition and was in every sense of the word a home-body, and was untiring in her efforts to make it pleasant for those she loved. She will be especially missed by the daughter with whom she has spent all the declining years of her life, and where she received every care and comfort that could be given her. She was the mother of six children, three sons and three daughters, two having died in infancy. Four remain to mourn her loss, namely: Andrew J. Robison, Fullerton, Neb.; H.R. Robison, Crowley, La.; Mrs. Hester Ann Goodwin, Elgin, Ill., and Mrs. Elizabeth Hunter, Barreville, Ill. She also leaves twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three brothers. The funeral services were held at the house at 1 p.m., Tuesday, conducted by Rev. W.B. Doble. The M.E. choir furnished music. Many friends were in attendance. The burial was in Terra Cotta cemetery."
