Petersburg Democrat June 24, 1876
Leg Broke - Mr. Burton Knowles, who lives with Joseph Estill, in Indian Point 
precinct, while in the act of drawing a wagon out of a shed last Saturday, let 
it get the start of him down hill, and in trying to stop it, fell and broke 
his thigh-bone.  Dr. F. P. Antle, assisted by Dr. Newcomer, reset the limb.  
Mr. Knowles is seventy-three years of age.
