Aledo Record  October 5, 1881
Mrs. Mary A. Harris, died at the residence of her son-in-law, J. H. Ward, on 
Thursday evening, in the 74th year of her age.  She had been a resident of our 
County for many years, and was esteemed as a very exemplary woman by all who 
knew her.  She leaves five daughters and one son to mourn her loss.

Additional Comments:
Mary Ann Murrell Harris was the widow of David Harris. They were married in 
Adair Co., Kentucky
