Arthur W. Beasley, 81
Former Witt Resident
 
Missouri - Arthur W. Beasley, 81, of Owensville, MO, formerly of Witt, died 
9:50 a.m. Sunday, April 4, 2004, at his residence.
 
Funeral services are today, Tuesday, in Owensville.  A graveside service will 
be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Barbara's Cemetery in Witt, Father Chris 
Comerford officiating.  Friends may call from 9 a.m. to time of the service on 
Wednesday at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Witt.
 
He was born February 14, 1923, in Witt, a son of Arthur and Mildred (Mitchell) 
Beasley.  He married Eugenia Hoehn on July 27, 1944, in Nokomis, and she 
survives.
 
Mr. Beasley worked as a comptroller and finance officer.  He was a U.S. Navy 
Veteran and member of Knights of Columbus in Owensville.
 
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Dale (wife Lee) Beasley of 
St. Louis, MO; a daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Janet) Laughlin of Bland, MO; two 
grandchildren, Jason and Craig Beasley and two step grandchildren, Cynthia 
Marriott and Dean Laughlin; six great-grandchildren; a sister Allegretha M 
Harrelson of North Carolina; a step brother, Ray Collins of Illinois.
 
He was preceded in death by two brothers and three step brothers.
