Obituary of Dr. William H. Geddy - Montgomery County, Illinois

This obit is of Dr. William H. Geddy, the paternal step 2nd great
grandfather of Olin Clayton of Raymond, Il.

                       "FREE-PRESS GAZETTE"
                Obituary of Dr. William H. Geddy
     Died at his home in Nokomis, Il March 13, 1912, Dr. William H.
Geddy, aged 87 years, 9 months and 33 days. The funeral being held March
19, at 1:00 o'clock p.m. from his late home, Reverand Guy E. Smock of
the Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment in Prospect Hill
Cemetery. The deceased has only been a resident here a few years, coming
from Ohlman, Il where he practiced medicine for a number of years and
was a highly respected old gentleman of very pleasing manners. He is
survived by his wife and other relatives. He was a Union soldier in the
War of the Rebellion and drew a pension. The bereaved ones have the
sympathy of the community.
