Sacramento, CA Services for Fenton David Williamson, age 75, a fourth-generation Sacramentan whose family settled the American River farming community now known as Rancho Cordova and Mills Station, will be held in the Garden Room Chapel of Miller- Skelton & Herberger, 20th and J Streets in Sacramento. Mr. Williamson died December 6, 1976 in Sacramento, CA. Williamson, an apple, pear and walnut grower, took over the family farming operation in 1949 following the death of his father, W. J. Williamson. Williamson was born March 29, 1901, and was a 1923 graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and was a member of the Sutter Club and the Grandfathers Club. In 1965 the family farming venture was accepted into the 100-year club at the California State Fair. Williamson is survived by his widow, Elizabeth (Cress); sons Fenton David jr. of Fresno, CA and Cress of Sacramento, CA; and sisters, Ellen Roffetto of Auburn, CA and Evelyn Maloney of San Marino, CA.
