Obituary of Elizabeth JOY, Morgan County, Illinois

While doing volunteer data entry at our local library in Ontario,
California, I came across this obituary which might be of some interest to
someone on this list. This does not relate to any surname that I am
researching personally. Nancy
     
Elizabeth Joy, 316 North Plum avenue, widow of Albert Lee Joy, died late
yesterday at Memorial Community hospital, following a brief illness at the
age of 75 years.

A native of Morgan county, Illinois, Mrs. Joy came to Ontario from the
middle west in 1904, residing here until 1916 and returning in 1941,
following residences in Bakersfield and Blythe.

Surviving Mrs. Joy are two brothers, Robert Fielder, Ontario, and Albert
Fielder, Nebo, Ill., and a sister, Mrs. Gussie Buchanan, Pittsfield, Ill.

Funeral arrangements, in charge of the J. B. Draper company, are incomplete.

Funeral services for Elizabeth Joy, 75, 316 North Plum avenue, widow of
Albert Lee Joy, who died Tuesday evening, will be conducted Saturday, 10:30
a.m., at the J. B. Draper company chapel, 127 West C street.

The Rev. Robert F. Dennis of Temple Baptist church will officiate. Interment
will be in Bellevue cemetery.
