Illinois, Marriage Weightman-Webster Marriage Meredosia News - Thurs, Feb 11, 1892 - V. 2, #32, p.1 WEIGHTMAN - WEBSTER Married at the Morgan Hotel, Jacksonville, last Monday forenoon, by Judge O.P. Thompson, Mr. James Weightman to Miss Ollie Webster. The News takes pleasure in extending congratulations to the happy young couple who have just started in life together, and are now joined in the bonds of wedlock so to remain until separated by death. Mr. Weightman, formerly of Mt. Sterling, but now a resident of Rawlins, Wyo. here he has a good position as fireman on the Union Pacific RR, is one of Rawlins' most highly and respected young men, one who is every way worthy of an excellent companion and such as he certainly has found in the person of she that was Miss Ollie Webster, daughter of our efficient postmaster, Daniel Webster, and a young lady of an extensive acquaintance and one who is greatly admired by her host of friends and acquaintences. Mrs. Weightman is a handsome young lady, industrious, ever neat and tidy, and is one of the best housekeepers to be found in Morgan or adjoining counties. This feature, one that is admired by all, is seldom found in the general run of the young ladies of this age, but in Mrs. Weightman will be found all the requisites of a true woman and a good wife. Mr. and Mrs. Weightman will depart next Monday for Rawlins, their future home, and as they go the wish of a host of friends follow them, each hoping that their future may ever be as happy as is the beginnig of the journey down life's pathway. Here's ______ Jim, and our best wishes are ever with you and yours. Submitted by Pat Hageman File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/il/morgan/vitals/marriages/weigwebs.txt File size: 2 Kb
