Paul Boggs Death of Robert Randol Robert Randol an aged and well known citizen of this county died at his home in Sullivan last Saturday at 9 o'clock. Death came suddenly and unexpectedly as deceased had been up and apparently in ordinary health throughout the day. Uncle Bob Randol was a few years ago one of Moultrie county's most substantial farmers but during the past few years had lost the greater part of his property. OBITUARY Robert Randol was born in Relaford county, North Carolina, January 3, 1826. He came to Illinois with his parents four years later. He was married to Nancy J. Patterson March 25, 1850. Ten children, five sons and five daughters, were born to this union. Nine of them are still living. They are Mrs. J. M. Wood, Mrs T. Kenny, Rachel, Margaret, Drusilla, William, David Thomas, James W., Samuel and Wesley Oliver. Mr. Randol's first wife died in November, 1870. In May, 1875, he was married again to Rachel Fuqua. He had five children by this marriage; all are living. They are Mrs. J. Killian, Robert, Marshal C., Harry and Edith Grace. He leaves one sister, Mrs. Drusilla Bushman. The funeral services were conducted at the Christian church, Monday afternoon, by Elder E. E. Curry. Mr. Randol had been a member of the Christian church since 1861, having united with the church at Lovington at that time.
