STATE OF ILLINOIS,|
Moultrie COUNTY.  |  ss.
I  J.B. Titus  Clerk of the County Court of said County, hereby certify that 
Mr. William A. Thomason was married to Mrs. Zilphia J. Hill in said County, on 
the 14th day of October  A.D. 1866 by Andrew Martin  a Justice of the Peace 
duly authorized to solemnize marriages by the Statute of the State of 
Illinois, as appears by his return and certificate of marriage attached to the 
license granted therefor by the Clerk of this Court, and now on file in my 
office.
In witness whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and attached the seal 
of said County Court, at my office in Sullivan this Fourteenth day of January  
A.D. 1869

Clerk of the County.

Additional Comments:
The groom was the son of George and Serena Thomason.  The bride was the widow 
of Jonathan M. Hill, a Civil War casualty.  They set up housekeeping on a farm 
at Dunn, Ill.
