The James Garfield LONG family.

The children of Garfield and Mabel LONG, are pictured with their 
parents in front of their rented home, owned by Upton POWELL, Pine 
Creek Township, Ogle County, Illinois.  The date of the photo is
circa 1937:

front row/left to right:  Kenneth "Gene" Long, James Garfield (Long)
Jones, Dorothy (Long) Reed, Bessie (Long) Wernick, Katherine (Long)
Rhodes.

back row/left to right:  Arthur "Brownie" Long, Newton "Newt" Long,
Francis "Hank" Long, Harold "Bump" Long.

Twelve of the thirteen LONG children are pictured here with their
parents.  Missing in the photo is Lawrence Elwood Long.  "Lornie" 
was born in 1919 and died in 1921.
