Emma Doering
Mrs. Emma Anna Doering, 70, wife of Benjamin Doering of Edwards, Ill., and a 
native of Tazewell county, died at 9:15 a.m.in Proctor Hospital. She had been 
in ill health for some time.
Daughter of Adam and Emma Smith Keil, she was born April 6, 1872 in Tazewell 
county and was married Nov. 16, 1893 in East Peoria to Benjamin Doering.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Clara DeVries and Miss Helen 
Doering, of Edwards; four sons, Silas, Henry and Benjamin T. Doering, Jr. of 
Edwards and Pyt. Chester Doering of Sheppard Field, Texas; five sisters, Mrs. 
Clara Loew, Miss Lena Keil and Mrs. Julia Adrien of East Peoria, Mrs. Mary 
Dingeldine of Washington, Ill., and Mrs. Amelia Altman of Peoria; a brother, 
Peter Keil of East Peoria; 12 randchildren and five great-grandchildren.
